“Ever since I was first introduced to the crystalline forms and iridescent colors of art glass, I have passionately sought to capture its essence for human wear.
My work focuses primarily on kiln-fused techniques. Vitric combinations are pieced together into forms that are representational, as well as the abstract…an expression of solid light interacting with the human body and touching the core emotions of the wearer. I often accentuate this glasswork with precious metals, gemstone accents, and intricate wire weaving to achieve these results.
Constant exploration with all forms of glass continues to propel my work forward, as I seek new ways to express the bond between light, glass art, and physicality”
